TENMYA 21 is an association with purposes non profit-making created on April 8th, 1996

Global vision
An association capable of transporting cultural, social and moral values in sustained and harmonious development of the natural environment by means of the education in the environment and conservation.

Participate to the conservation of forest, wet zone and littoral in Northerly Tunisia. Promote the environmental education about the following subjects: Forests, wet and littoral Zones.


  • To identify and select the ecosystems of intervention.
  • To develop and execute projects of sustainable development and conservation of the environment.
  • To identify the target school circles.
  • To develop a program of information and sensitization.
  • To develop activities such as exhibitions, landscape visits, etc.

Project of sustained development in Raf-Raf Beach.

The project consists of:

  • Assuring training and supplying products means as well as adequate support to 27 poor families in Rafraf Beach.
  • Sensibilisation the targeted population to preservation and respect of environment.

Project of Initiative of Sensitisation in the participative conservation of the region of Cap Serrat – Cap Negro.
The objective of the project is to increase the appreciation of ecological, cultural and social values and to contribute to development and preserving forest and marine regions of Cap Serrat -Cap Negro by the Environment Education to numerous people.

Project of Sustained Development in Sidi Mechreg.
It is concerned with bettering training system of Sidi Mechreg people to bring about Agricultural development and fishing Group “GDAP” and also with perfecting agricultural activities specifically related to the region to boost up much better the income of some families (49).

Tenmya 21 has participated in a number of international meetings and events focusing on Environmental and Educational issues such as Johannesburg Summit in 2002.
It is a member of RAED (Cairo) and also a member of MIO-ESCDE
