    • GLOBE Program (1376)
      Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment is a worldwide network of students, teachers, and scientists working together to study and understand the global environment. Students and teachers from over 7,000 schools in more than 80 countries are working with research scientists to learn more about our planet. GLOBE students make environmental observations at or near their schools and report their data through the Internet. Scientists use GLOBE data in their research and provide feedback to the students to enrich their science education. The web page contains a broad range of information resources, data and news bulletins.

Since its creation in 1945, it has worked to improve education worldwide through technical advice, standard setting, innovative projects, capacity-building and networking. The web-page lists useful data and country reports on Education. Furthermore there are a number of and Teaching and Learning Resources and Materials available to download.

      The European Environment Information and Observation Network is a collaborative network of the EEA and its Member Countries, connecting National Focal Points in the EU and accession countries, European Topic Centres, National Reference Centres, and Main Component Elements. These organisations jointly provide the information that is used for making decisions for improving the state of environment in Europe and making EU policies more effective. EIONET is both a network of organisations and an electronic network. The web page contains databases with information on issues such as water, air and waste and their management in Europe.

      Published by the Environmental Technology Department of the Technical University of Hamburg, this quarterly on-line newsletter provides the latest information on events, publications, projects and policies affecting the European, and international, environmental education community. Back issues of the newsletter are also available.
    • EE Link (1072)
      An information portal that offers an integrated collection of various EE Resources on the Internet. Developed for K-12 educators, it offers comprehensive information on organizations, classroom resources, research, grants and jobs. EE-Link is a project of the North American Association for Environmental Education.
    • Ducks Unlimited - Educators (1043)
      This site is dedicated to enabling educators to create engaging curriculum about wetland habitat and wetlands animals. Various teachers and students guides are available for download for grade ranging from 4 to 12.
    • International Year of Water 2003 (1037)
      This special website for the Year provides extensive links to information materials, reports and planned activities and events around the world, by United Nations agencies, governments, and non-governmental and private sector partners.
    • EEA (1036)
      The European Environment Agency aims to support sustainable development and to help achieve significant and measurable improvement in Europe's environment through the provision of timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policy making agents and the public. The web page contains date sets typically on a country level. Major themes are water, air, waste, transport, etc. Also find a very useful multilingual environmental glossary.
    • US EPA - Environmental Education (1000)
      US Environmental Protection Agency’s web-page focused on issues relevant to EE. There are various EE materials available for teachers and for students and also valuable background scientific information on many environmental issues, such as water, air, ecosystems, human health, etc.
    • The ACRA Project (932)
      The ACRA project aims to promote Actions for Raising Critical Awareness towards environmental and scientifically sound information related to EU environmental policy among citizens. Within the Project several activities on Sustainable Development are organised.
