Building Bridges - Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for MAB BRs and other Designated Areas, Greece 30 March - 05 April 2012
OVERVIEW: The planned workshop offers capacity building to personnel of UNESCO/MAB Biosphere Reserves (BRs) and other kinds of Designated Areas (DAs) and/or Protected Areas on the added value of integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the activities designed for visitors to their Reserves or Parks (i.e. Schools, adult groups, individual visitors, etc.).
DATES: 30 March (arrivals) – 05 April 2011 (departures) PLACE: Attica & Amfissa region, GREECE LANGUAGE: English EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS: ~ 35 (20 for Grundtvig + 10 extra from MAB BRs + 5 Greeks) ACCREDITED COUNTRIES: BULGARIA, CYPRUS, FRANCE, ITALY, MALTA, ROMANIA, SPAIN, TURKEY (for GRUNDTVIG) + Other Selected Euro Mediterranean & SE European countries.
