D. 1st virtual meeting of the “Advancing Policy” UNESCO/GAP Partner Network, 30/09/2015.

Prof. Michael Scoullos, MEdIES Coordinator is Co-chair in one of the five Partner Networks of the five year UNESCO-GAP project (on Priority Action Area 1: “Advancing Policy”). Main aim of the Partner Network that is consisted by about 15 members is to identify activities that scale up the ESD integration in national, regional and international policies. For this reason, selected cases and initiatives of countries from all around world start already to feed a Workplan which is under development. A few of these Advancing Policy initiatives of the Workplan will be jointly nominated in a Flagship Project, a "best-practice" that can be replicated in other regions.

All the aforementioned were discussed during the 1st virtual meeting of the Network on “Advancing Policies”, co-organised by MEdIES together with UNESCO on  30/09/2015.
